We are delighted to announce that the Saikat Annual Summer Picnic has been scheduled for Sunday, June 2nd, 2024, at Mission Bay. Looking forward to a delightful day filled with delicious food, "adda", and other exciting activities! We will be arranging games suitable for all ages, ensuring that everyone can participate and enjoy.
Please be advised that the Saikat Annual Picnic extends a complimentary invitation to Saikat Annual members. However, we warmly invite non-members to participate by acquiring an event pass. If you're interested in becoming a Saikat Annual member and joining our vibrant community, membership options are available on our
website. Additionally, non-members can secure event passes, and annual members can obtain guest passes by filling out the RSVP link provided below.
We will be holding our annual General Body (GB) meeting during the picnic, scheduled for 2:30 p.m. All Saikat members are warmly invited to participate in the meeting. We eagerly anticipate hearing any suggestions or feedback you may have.

Enjoy a tantalizing assortment of appetizers, featuring phuchka, jhalmuri, Ghugni Samosa chaat, fruit salad, followed by a delightful Bangali-style lunch comprising Rice, Beguni, Badhakopi with kucho chingri, Chicken kasha, and Paneer curry. Cap off your meal with Gulab jamun and Ice cream to satisfy your sweet tooth. Alongside this scrumptious spread, an array of activities will keep everyone entertained. From kite flying to a variety of enjoyable games, relish the serene waterfront ambiance of Mission Bay while making cherished memories with your loved ones.
We've curated a diverse range of games suitable for both children and adults, reminiscent of our childhood picnics. Experience the thrill and joy as we revive the essence of a Bengali picnic outing. Just like last year, indulge in an exhilarating day-long Kite Flying session, allowing you to soar high in the refreshing breeze of Mission Bay. Saikat EC will provide all the necessary equipment for the event. Your gracious presence and active participation are kindly requested. Encourage the young members of your family to join in the festivities!
Your assistance in coordinating this picnic is deeply appreciated. We're currently seeking volunteers for various tasks, including organizing picnic games/activities, food preparation, distribution, logistics, decoration, photography, and more.
